Physical Description:  Conor stands around 6' tall.  He weighs in at just under 175 lbs.  He appears leanly fit, but closer examination reveals a muscular build toned and shaped by running and swimming.

His hair is a light auburn that, depending on the lighting can appear as anything from a soft brown to a dark ginger.  It is a little too long to be stylish and is generally rather unkempt looking.  The result of his frequently combing it with his fingers.

Distinguishing Marks:  None.

Personality:  Conor is an open and friendly guy, though he generally prefers to let others make the first move.  Especially women, what with it being nine years since he has dated.

He is pleasantly soft-spoken with remarkable patience dealing with others.  When he gets drunk, something that seldom happens, he becomes very quiet and melancholy.

Back Ground:  Conor was born and raised in Lawrence, KS.  The town was fairly evenly divided between upper class, working families, students, and hippies.  He managed to fit in with all of them except the college kids.

He was an honor student who decided, due to a particularly beloved teacher, to become a teacher.  He maintained his good study habits, graduating with honors with a baccalaureate in teaching.

The summer before his senior year, he fell into his first, and he thought only, serious romance.  Her name was Ashley Woods.  They were married after their graduation.  Conor took a job as an english teacher at Lawrence Free State High School while Ashley continued her education in medicine at KUMC in nearby Kansas City.

The first couple of years, he spent his summers as a full-time grad student.  The next few, needing the extra income, he took over coaching the swim team.  This meant he had to cut his studies back to night classes, working around his schedule at the school.

Then one night, he came home to find Ash's things gone along with a note.  His wife was leaving him for another man, a Doctor she had met during her residency.  He quietly went along, signing the papers and splitting their assets equally.  He didn't have it in him to fight.

Since then, he has spent his free time with books either studying, finally earning his Master's, and preparing his lesson plans.  He has adjusted himself to being alone, simply keeping to himself and living happily alone.

Over the cosurse of his career, he has been named KS Teacher of the Year three times and he is extremely popular among his students.  It was a group of those students, working together, who filled out and submitted his information to the show.  After weighing it over, he decided to go along and has taken a sabbatical to give himself the necessary time off for the show.



Likes:  Cooking, especially with fresh, local produce.  His students.  Shakespeare, particularly the tragedies.  Swimming.

Dislikes:  Bullying.  Lack of patience with students.  He strongly distrusts cats.

Strengths:  Intelligent, patient, and kind.  Physically fit with very good endurance.

Weaknesses:  Conor is sometimes far more passive than he should be, particularly with women.  Extremely out of practice socially, again particularly with women.

Fears:  Failing his students.  Dying alone and unremembered.

Fun Facts: Conor loves swashbuckling adventure stories, books and movies.  He is a surprisingly good fencer.
