Brother Ignaeus Sunspitter

      Description:
Ignaeus, like his brethren and people of his homeworld has skin the color of ebony and ash, with eyes that glow in the dark. One glows a natural volcanic red, the other a flickering cybernetic lime green, so masterfully crafted the orb is fitted naturally into his skull. Ignaeus is tall specimen even for the average Astartes, with wide shoulders and long arms of a man maybe genetically bred to be a warrior-smith. On his flesh is writ his deeds and achievements in the honor-brands his people favor, the backs of his hands branded with sigils designating him a great craftsman with hands as steady as adamantine, and significant honor brands on his scalp and neck depicting his training by the Machine Cult of Mars and the embracing of significant bionic enhancement, though little of it seems visible on his flesh beyond the cybernetic eye and a cerebral unit with plugin-ports.

Every bit of his gear shows some aspect of his personal touch, either personally built by his own hand or modified or decorated in some way. Engravings of licking flames and fire-breathing dragons and lizards dominate, but scripture is often included, battle-hymns and binary machine-coda both represented.

Ignaeus is not often out of his armor, as he has grown comfortable with the use of his servo-harness and prefers not to be without. Often his only reason for being out of his armor is to perform maintenance or repairs on it. When readied for battle he invariably carries a great weapon crafted by his own hand within the thermal-absorbing skull of a Firedrake of Nocturne, the Sunspitter, an Astartes plasma cannon refined for his personal use. It is typically stowed in a ready position by a servo-arm, ready to be placed into Ignaeus hands when he desires the skull-encased gun to spit forth its miniature sun.

Even should he choose not to level the Sunspitter on his foe, Ignaeus is not short of options for his servo-harness and armor bristle with tools and weaponry, some of the former doubling as the latter. Of additional note is the lithe and nimble dragon-headed breaching augur he affectionately calls the 'Little Drake', its whirling four-gear grinder maw burning with a flickering flame, serving a dual purpose as the ignition source of Ignaeus' fycilene torch, allowing the Little Drake to breath gouts of flame.
