Delanie Brackett

THE BASICS
Name: Delanie Brackett

Nickname: "'Laney", "Brown Cow"

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Gender: Female

Age: 21

Hair: Wavey chestnut brown, falling to her mid back. Constantly messy and windswept, even on calm days

Eyes: Ice blue

Distinguishing Marks: Patches of albino white skin cover her body, the pale marks of vitiligo resembling clouds scudding across her flesh

General Appearance: Laney stands four inches over five feet, all wiry legs and arms poking out of faded coveralls and band shirts. Most of the time she wears a ball cap, adorned with some sarcastic quip, to keep her unruly hair in check. Ruddy tan skin gives stark contrast to both her eyes and the whimsical patches of paleness scattered about her body, even in winter. While it's been said she cleans up well, she rarely bothers putting in the kind of effort it takes to pull off the typical girly-fem look.

HISTORY
Personality: Laney is one of the guys; a straight shooting, work-hard-play-hard tomboy with a temper, a competitive streak a mile wide, and a big heart that pushes her to go out of her way to help people. She's friendly and welcoming, and hasn't met an animal she didn't immediately 'adopt'.

Sexual Preferences: Whatever she likes whenever she likes it ;)

Employment: Veterinarian and Itinerant Farmhand

While hardly the leader of the local delinquents, Laney orchestrated her fair share of mischief as a child and young adult, earning the occassional bout of ire from the town's more established and more private families. This wild side was tempered when she left town to go to college, the energy channeled into learning plant and animal husbandry (wifery as she prefers to call it). Upon completing her degree, she returned home, eager to find her place in the adult side of the place she had spent her childhood in...
