Name: Ray'yak vas Beritan

Description: Like many male quarians, Ray'yak is a lithe, wiry figure whose features are entirely concealed by an environmental suit. He's still fairly young by quarian standards. What marks him as unusual are the telltale signs of modifications he's installed in his suit, some of which are of dubious legality in Citadel space.

Background: Ray'yak was always a bit unusual for a quarian, and got marked as a troublemaker from an early age. His opinion of the Admiralty Board didn't improve when he returned to his pilgrimage, and it wasn't long before he came across the message of one Yator'Preel vas Citadel. He eventually absconded from the fleet to join the Nedas movement, the quarian rebels who wanted to find a new homeworld and abandon the goal of defeating the geth and reclaiming Rannoch.

The crew of the SSV Marathon rescued Ray'yak from the pirates' attack on the Nalotir. In light of his subsequent attempted sabotage of the Marathon, he is now suspected of having crippled the Nalotir and allowing the pirates to board her.
