Kisura of Two Rivers

Appearance: The person to the right with the head on the left, minus the pauldron spikes and the helmet, and with the braids in the head's blonde.

Backstory: Kisura was born to and raised among the Foremost, one of the Hill Tribes of the River Province in the East. The Foremost were nomadic raiders, but they used a strict code of issuing challenges, called the Honor Road, as a means of conserving resources invested in an attack, as well as to minimize the losses from infighting. As a result of this highly militant lifestyle, all members of the tribe were taught how to fight, both individually and as a group.

The tribe grew steadily in strength over the years, claiming more victories than defeats. Those that honored their ways wound up fighting the best the tribe had to offer, while those who didn't found that each individual strove to distinguish themselves to earn personal glory. Kisura was no exception, and had even learn Arczeck so that she could make challenges to the Wyld barbarians that the Foremost (and other Hill Tribes that followed the Honor Road) acted as a buffer against for the more settled denizens of the Scavenger Lands.

Eventually, though, Fate saw the Foremost face a foe they weren't prepared for. They'd come across a Wood Aspected huntress, clearly raised outside the influence of Lookshy or the Realm from her attire of pelts and lack of jade weaponry. The Wood Aspect declares that they were now in charge of the Foremost, and that they were going to hunt down a Lunar so that she might earn a place of prestige in the Realm.

Kisura's chieftain, Forsuni, began explaining the proper way to challenge for leadership by the Honor Road, but the Wood Aspect put an arrow through Forsuni's throat before he could finish, and asked if anyone else would speak against her leadership.

Kisura stepped forward without hesitation.

In that moment, blinding light filled her vision, and she heard a voice. "The Honor Road can take you many places, but here and now it has brought you into the sight of Sol Invictus. This Dragon seeks to challenge a member of the Celestial Exalted. By my power, you shall oblige her. Let this be the first of many victories as a Chosen of the Sun!"

The light faded, but did not vanish entirely, as a white-gold aura surrounding Kisura in scything arcs of light. The Terrestrial, elated, immediately fired arrow after arrow at Kisura, each carrying a vibrant green glow. And, to Kisura's sight, moving with an almost painful slowness. Ax and shield rose, catching arrows or batting them to where they would harm none. As the volley turned into a steady stream of arrows, Kisura steadily recited the rules of the Honor Road.

When she got to the last rule, that anything was permitted against those who deviated from the Honor Road, she struck the Wood Aspect's head clean from her shoulders in a single strike.

A less lethal duel, simply a formality, ensured the succession of the Foremost, with Kisura as leader of the tribe. It was less than a week of searching before they found the Lunar who'd drawn the attention of the Wood Aspect, thanks in no small part to the No Moon in question seeking out the freshly Exalted follower of the Honor Road. His name was Fivefold Argent Talon, and he explained his role in the development of the Honor Road... as well as the danger Kisura posed to her tribe, due to her nature.
