Seasons of Journey
This game is going to be invite-only; I am sorry if you'd like to play, there are simply too many great gamers and players I consider close friends on RPOL. I had to narrow my list down even for this, and I feel terrible for not inviting those friends who got cut. That being said, this will be my second game that I am currently DMing on RPOL, third game that I've ever DM'd. As far as I go as a DM, I'm still fairly new compared to many; I only picked up D&D near the end of 2015, primarily only on RPOL, although I have immersed myself rather fully since then. My other primary game, Adventure Series, has been going on since April of 2016 and is creeping up on 5k posts as I write this. Still, I consider myself a learning Dungeon Master. I am, however, dedicated, inspired, and I have an attention to detail. As for the story and setting; that is yet to be decided, and the players will be part of those decisions. We will be playing one of the 5e campaign books, but we have several to choose from. As far as the campaign books themselves go, just know that I interpret them my own way, and I do everything I can to make it feel that there is a personal touch in the campaign; I never want it to feel like a railroad, and I do want to make the NPCs and villains pop out at the players in a way that makes everyone care and makes the game feel alive. I might make mistakes along the way, but I'm open to that because it is a learning experience, first and foremost. I look forward to building characters and a world of journeys with all of you.
