Erzulie Balianne, or Erzulie the Gagged, is a member of the Petro family of Voodoo Loa. She "silences" (heals or calms) hearts, and ensures that secrets will not be revealed. She helps people to forget past loves and overcome passionate emotions. When she possesses her priestesses, her "horses" tend to speak as if they have a gag in their mouth. She is syncretized with Mary of the Immaculate Heart.

The Daughters of Erzulie Balianne, known (or whispered of) more simply as Balianne's Daughters, are the semi-hereditary guardians of women from time before Europeans settled the bayous. Weregators, witches, voodoo priestesses and more make up her secretive coven of priestesses. If you are a woman in need of their help, their vengeance can be subtle, severe, and last generations, and there is always a price to be paid.
