For several years now, the County of White Pines - known to the resident mortals as Moss River, MI - has been suffering.
Stuck in the Rust Belt and pounded by corporate mismanagement, urban decay, job loss and rising crime, the city has become a depressing and dangerous place.
It's not the last place you'd expect to find the Fae, but it's up there.
Nonetheless, dreams are notoriously hard to kill.
Commoner Changelings here are a tough breed, hardy and often angry.
Their 'noble' Sidhe masters have abandoned them, slammed their Freehold gates shut and left them to scrounge up what Glamour they can or die in obscurity.
Autumn seems to be drawing to a close here and Winter is but a chilly wind away.
Still, the Fae cling to the Dying Light, determined and resolute.
Perhaps Winter will come for them all too soon - but they will fight it every step of the way, with or without the Freehold's Lords to help.
