Traveller - Campaign BC1 - As the Crow Flies
 | WELCOME TO THE FIFTY-SEVENTH CENTURY By the ancient calender of Terra, it is the year 5626, and by that of the Third Imperium, it is 1105. For almost three decades, the Spinward Marches sector, on the frontier of Imperial space, has known relative peace, at least on the surface. Below the surface, however, tensions continue to brew. Vargr corsairs raid along the Coreward edge of the sector. The government of the Sword Worlds continues to posture and make thinly-veiled threats against neighbouring systems. And the Zhodani Consulate is an ever-present threat. Tasmin Crow used to work for the Imperial Interstellar Scout Service, but now she is, officially, retired. Black Crow is her ship, a... slightly modified... IISS scout/courier. As with the Spinward Marches, all is not quite as it seems with Tasmin Crow. She isn't really retired, and Black Crow only looks like a scout/courier. Tasmin still works for the IISS, in the Intelligence Branch. Her job is to visit locations that the service is interested in, and gather information. She also handles situations that impinge on the IISS' zones of interest. In other words, she is a secret agent. Black Crow is a useful tool in her job. This, then, is their story... |
