Duke Ulfius is not only one of the pre-eminent vassals of the High King, he is also a friend and loyal servant of Aurelius Ambrosius. Ulfius inherited power from his uncle after the Night of Long Knives and holds a particular hatred for the Saxons.

Along with Duke Gorlois of Cornwall and Duke Corneus of Lindsay, he is one of the most powerful vassals of Logres, with access to the immense wealth of London, a large swathe of land, and a strong army of loyal knights. A renowned warrior, he is also amongst the rare men who are considered friends by the brash Prince Uther and who can rein in the young man when even his older brother the High King cannot. This makes him one of the most influential lords left in Logres.

Ulfius is an aging man, having fought alongside both Uther and his older brother Aurelius Ambrosius. Never the most handsome of men, his years have granted him certain gravitas, and his steel-grey eyes are as sharp as ever.

Ulfius is known for his generally stubborn and suspicious attitude, but also for his great loyalty and bravery. A man for solutions less than politics, he often drives to the heart of the matter.

For the past 5 years, he has served as Uther’s right-hand man. Though generally viewed as honorable, many of his knights, however, are mistrusted by all good men of Salisbury. Perhaps rightly so.
