King Nentres is the ruler of the northern kingdom of Garloth and the brother-in-law of King Lot of Lothian.

King Nentres is said to be a good man in a bad place, as his kingdom is precariously surrounded by Lothian, Nohaut, and Malahaut. He is said to be blind to much evil that happens, though whether this is by simplicity or choice none can say. He is a loyal vassal of King Lot.
