An aspiring scholar Kanno concerns himself mostly with his work spending most of his time at the Great Library at his studies.  Hailing from Shyn Lu Kanno, like most of the citizens of the land, is not particularly trusting of foreigners.  A land of Philosopher Kings Shyn Lu keeps itself disentangled from the politics of other nations; it's people keeping contact with outsiders mostly for archival purposes.

Hair cut short and wearing glasses, Kanno does not make for an impressive physical specimen.  He studies martial arts and carries no weapons; for him it is an academic matter of learning and self-improvement.
