Meliv is perhaps a bit shorter than the average male gnome, but not by much, and of some young adult age. His brown hair usually seems disheveled, and he has dark blue-green eyes. He always wears a sprig of holly and mistletoe on a cord around his neck, signaling to those who know that he is a druid. When expecting trouble, he wears a suit of leather armor. When not, he generally prefers a worn pair of peasant’s pants and a bare chest, with the only clothing that a self-respecting adventurer would generally wear being a good pair of boots. He is often somewhat dirty, preferring nature and good “clean” mud over cities and hubbub. But he is no slob.

He often seems as if he is a little uncomfortable with social situations in general, although exactly why is not clear. Those with military experience may note that he sometimes acts in a way that suggests that he was in a military for some period of time.

He is rarely far from his dire badger, Procy, and often rides him. When expecting trouble, Meliv makes sure Procy is barded in leather armor as well.
