Sir Walter

Sir Walter cuts a very impressive figure, one that turns heads wherever he goes Appearance.  Formerly a rather small and unremarkable youth, he's since grown into a tall, handsome man with chestnut-colored hair that is cropped short, crystal blue eyes, and a smile that cuts like a knife. If that weren't enough, he's said to be quite the charmer and is always a favorite at any courtly event Courtesy/Dancing/Eloquence/Flirting. This is in no small part thanks to the fact that Sir Walter's mother is Duke Thierry's youngest (and favorite) aunt, Lady Leandre Optimates.  She married Walter's father, Sir Aymon after he saved her life during a fire.  This caused Aymon, a rather unknown knight to rocket to prominence, as marrying the Duke's daughter is no small thing!  Walter is their eldest child and only son, though he does have three younger sisters.

Recognizing the give and take in politics, he is known for being Forgiving and Generous.  Like the lovers in great poems, he is known for his Chaste and Christian love.  He has all-around good relations with most people, recognizing that, regardless of station, they can be humored (or manipulated).  However, despite the courtly intrigues that surround him, Walter remains a man of his word Honest, believing strongly that a man is only worth as much as his word.  Though Walter is not without his faults.  His ability to trace his family's relation to King Pepin and Prince Charlemagne is something he's rather proud of.  Too proud at times Cardinal Sin - Pride.  In truth, he's all too aware of his failings there, and it's something he tends to be rather ashamed of, though it doesn't stop him from using said connections to his advantage.

As he tends to eschew such manly pursuits as hunting and the like, one could be forgiven for thinking that he's simply a pretty face.  Nothing could be further from the truth.   While not the most amazing combatant, he's rather adept on horseback Horsemanship/Lance, and with the Sword).  Though if truth be told, despite this, he has far better head for leading men, than for individual combat Battle.

Walter is also known for having a love of books, having snuck into his cousin's library (if you could call a handful of books that) more than once to read.  This has lead to the young man having a good grasp of what it takes to run a Stewardship.
