Dark Heresy - Dark Stars on the Horizon

*Dark Stars on the horizon* is a Dark Heresy (1st Ed.) game set in the waning years of the 41st Millenium where the Imperium of Man continues to teeter on the edge of disaster, threatened from all sides by mutants, heretics and xenos. The Inquisition, mankind's first shield against the deepest and most unknowable evils that seeks to devour it, fights an ever-losing battle against all threats to humanity - both internal and external - to try and stem the tide of chaos and destruction.
Beginning on the planet of Ryker VII, the players will get involved as outsiders, functionaries, hive-dwellers and other imperials who are drawn into the Inquisition's service through various means. From there, the player's will have the freedom to explore the galaxy, bound only by missions and objectives.
