Crisis in Harappa
Welcome to a work in progress. I'm trying to gather players who have been seeking a GM and get you all talking together and coming to agreements on what you want. Here's what I've got so far.

System: Heavily Homebrewed 5e. You can use 5e material like classes, races, and feats but I've pretty much torn down and rebuilt much of the content (equipment, skills, backgrounds).

Genre: A combination of Action, Adventure, Mystery, and Survival. More or less of each depending on preferences.

Tone: serious but humor and light-heartedness are very welcome.

Number of players: 4-8

Setting Geography: inspired by the Indian Subcontinent and the Indus River Valley Civilization (or Harappan civilization). You get the world's highest mountains, an ocean, a big island, a chain of small islands, jungles, forests, swamps, grasslands, deserts, and all-year-round glacier fields all within 1000 miles of each other. Variety to go to any kind of place. Also you're in a global trading center frequently servicing visitors from multiple continents.

Setting Magic: both mages and psions are uncommon but well known, like Olympic athletes or scientists with advanced university educations and degrees. I'm not planning on witch hunts but common folk won't worship the ground you stand on either.

Setting Technology: Medieval transitioning to Steampunk. People here have spent thousands of years trying to learn from the technology of aliens who conquered planets, galaxies, universes, and dimensions. 90% of people live with medieval/renaissance technology while the very rich have magic muskets and robot servants with cameras, speakers, and video screens.

Posting speed: medium or slow. 2-3 posts per week on average.
