Hailing from the quiet northern coastal village of Amber Bay, Sapphire Rose is a rather friendly member of the Kai Order who seems to have a knack for weapon training.

She is known to be always willing to help any Initiates or other lower ranking members with weapon training on request, and sometimes likes a bit of friendly sparring with others.

While she usually fights only with the large bluesteel sword she has carried with her since joining the Order, she has also been seen to occasionally use a smaller shortsword alongside it, a technique she claimed was based on an old Southern Magnamund fighting style.

When the Kai Monastery came under siege by the Lavas forces, Sapphire Rose joined the defences around the walls and fought hard to hold off the assault.
While Black Hawk assisted the crew of the Skyrider when it was downed in the Courtyard, she fought on the walls as a distraction, helping the less experienced or less skilled fighters.

She stood out in the battle for continuing to relentlessly strike back at the enemy, even after suffering multiple injuries while defending and backing up the younger members of the Order. She never doubted that Lone Wolf would return, and was determined to prevent as many Kai deaths as possible during her watch until he did.

Now at the age of 23, she continues to help train initiates and carry out missions as best as she can.  While she may now be wise enough to pick her battles with more caution and tactical sense, the reckless side she displayed in her own Initiate days isn't buried too deeply beneath the surface...

In appearance she is about average height, with the athletic figure of someone who regularly pushes themselves to the limits (and sometimes beyond) at training sessions and in the combat situations she's seen before.

Messy shoulder-length almost-white blonde hair frames a face with bright alert sky-blue eyes.

A large claymore-like sword with a bluesteel blade and a circular rose-shaped carving on the pommel usually rests in a scabbard on her back, with a smaller shortsword worn on the back of her belt, positioned with its hilt within easy reach of her left hand.

She usually wears a plain white tunic beneath her Kai Cloak, with a blue sapphire pendant, carved in the shape of a rose, on a silver chain around her neck tucked down the front.  She is also wearing a circlet on her head, a silvery breastplate over her tunic, and a pair of gauntlets marked with odd sigils on her hands, these still look fairly new although a few scars on them indicate they have seen some action since leaving the forges.

While she can turn deadly-serious in a dangerous situation, she tends to be quite laid-back and approachable at other times, particularly around other skilled fighters.

She believes in regular training, determined to reach the peak of her abilities, and will readily help others with their own training, through advice or sparring, particularly initiates to the Order.
