Guildmaster of the Brotherhood of the Crystal Star, the magician's guild in Toran. Banedon has been a long time ally of Lone Wolf and the Kai since they were both Novice's in their respective orders. After both rose to the ranks in leaders of their orders, they have remained good friends over the years, sharing many adventures together, with Banedon always remaining loyal to Lone Wolf since the Grand Master saved his life in rescuing him from Kaag.

Banedon was instrumental in first instilling the marrying of Left-Handed Magic to the Kai in creation of Kai-Alchemy, which he first taught to Lone Wolf. Since then, he has often been a guest lecturer along with other Magicians at the Monastery in teaching of Kai-Alchemy to the New Order Kai
