Ophilia is known among the children and some of the adults of the town as the Ghost of Sandpoint because of her pale appearance and her alchemy lab being out near the cemetery. She was not always so pale and willowy as she has become. Years back she had color to her and though she was sick then she seemed more substantial to people.

Now she works at Brimstone and Spirits, her illness cured by the church of Desna and her debt to the church paid off by subjecting herself as a test subject to a traveling alchemist. Here she became the ghost of Sandpoint as the experiment made her more fey creature then human. In appearance she could if she wished pass for human or half elven. Her vision is sharp at night and the fact she enjoys being out after dark adds to the rumor that she is a ghost in the children's eyes.

Still she is grateful to the people of Sandpoint for taking her in, for helping her and healing her and does small things to help out, often without making it known she is the one who has done so.

While she is not wealthy she still donates to the church of Desna and owns a holy symbol of that faith.
