Description

This serious girl has large brown eyes. Her thick, wavy, honey blonde hair is neck-length and is worn in an artistic style. She is tall and has a thin build. Her skin is light-colored. She has a large mouth. Her wardrobe is practical, with a mostly green color scheme.  Marissa has a beautiful alto voice.  She also has an American accent.

Marissa would just love to get rid of her nightmares.  She’s hoping to make a big difference in the world.  Currently Marissa is torn between clinical psychology, industrial psychology and parapsychology.

Marissa hates having nightmares.  Because they show up so often in her nightmares, Marissa hates the sea and lonely places.

TWO C - FAMILY AND HISTORY

Marissa has most of her family still.  Shortly after she was born, her parents moved to Montana.  Her childhood was quiet and relatively nightmare-free.  From an early age, Marissa was drawn to the occult.  Marissa  applied to colleges with parapsychology programs after two years at Montana State.  Black Oak mailed her an information packet and an application form.  Marissa and her family would have preferred Duke University in North Carolina, but Duke didn’t take her and Black Oak did, with enough financial aid to make the university very attractive.  Her father’s sister, Aunt Dahlia, did not like Marissa going so far away and has warned Marissa to stay away from the seashore.
Marissa’s family, all of whom listed are still alive:
Father – Matt Chase, lawyer
Mother – Stephanie Chase, lawyer
Sister – Sheryl Chase, still in school as she’s 14
Aunt Dahlia, the family historian
Grandfather and grandmother on her mother’s side, both retired and in California
Possibly distant cousins on her father’s side in the Severn Valley.  Aunt Dahlia wants Marissa to avoid them and the Severn Valley.  This is under *discussion*.
