PROFILE
Appearance
A sculpture modified by each generation and civilisation they've been kept by. Humanoid in structure and given a androgynous look to it. Sure from time to time during the days gone an artist, sculptor or studier of the magical arts has given it more the look of gender but over time this seemed to fade or maybe the hands of the artist returns and smooths it all back out.
Even the material they seem to be made from has seemingly shifted, from the simple clay or local sandstone to the more modern which it could be sworn they might now be marble and yet further still becoming metallic. The new smooth surface of their body is without blemish or marking all but for the joints. At the joints, in such small lettering, it is difficult to imagine human hands writing, are the writings which Summa will tell gives them life. An ancient language simple markings from the ancient civilization that birthed them.
Personality
When they believe themselves to be correct they can be found to be blunt and to the point, giving a little leeway. Not to say they do not bow to others given their own expertise, as they see themselves as a student first and foremost. It is just they are very much not human and even if they like to think they understand aspects of personality and humanity, they are not of it so will come off as alien sometimes.
Origin
Alexandria known and regarded as the center of knowledge and learning during its age, and even still the great library within it. Here a great many arcane experiments were conducted using the collection of scrolls on the subject. Summa was one such experiment. Starting out as a small clay model molded carefully in the hands of a library master under the supervision of an artist and an arcane specialist. From this small beginning, each new master and collective of specialists improved on the Homonculi, adding to it and building on the achievements of the past.
Resurfacing and being buried away with the waxing and waning of civilizations, as human history goes from the light of knowledge to the darkness of ignorance. The homunculi lay dormant, as little but a curiosity among artifacts and other treasures of the fallen kingdom and empires. Then the light of the renaissance graced the world of mankind. Curiosity in the knowledge and wisdom of the past had never been greater. Pulling out old tomes and scrolls in desperate hunger to learn and know more about the world. Summa was lucky to be part of this.
