General Physical Description:

Nerada stands at 5 ft 9, and has a fairly light build at slightly under 130 pounds. She has white hair, and blue-gray eyes. Due to an incident with an air filter in her place of residence, there was some lung damage, for which she is currently being treated by way of a breath mask administering steady doses of Serisone. While the breath mask is not strictly necessary -- in that she can survive fine without it -- it does help to filter out impurities from the air to reduce the chances of infection in the recovering tissue.

Background:

Nerada's parents lived in one of the Penal Colonies there, working the tylium mines that granted Canceron its wealth in return for a cut off their sentence. With the high military presence on Canceron, and the expected lack of other jobs in a Penal Colony, there was really only one path for her to follow, and having (unlike most) an unblemished criminal record helped a great deal to get into an Academy.

She was a fast student, naturally gravitating towards the Marines as their lifestyle reminded her of home. They in turn saw potential in her for already possessing both a stress-resistant mindset and a strong attention to detail as lacking either was potentially dangerous where she grew up, and those lacking both generally did not make it to their teens.

That is not to say her joining the military went off without a hitch: Due to her familial connections and place of birth, her file recommends constant surveillance to remove the risk of her potentially becoming a threat, though she has not shown any signs towards confirming that suspicion. She herself is aware of it, and considers it no more than a precautionary measure.
