Mike is a former Air Force pilot who took over the family cattle ranch after his father passed. He's an only child. Mike married Michelle when Janessa was 5 years old. He's never treated her like she wasn't his. This whole thing with who her biological dad is has thrown him for a loop, but he's doing his best to be understanding and accepting.
