History:
Born on a chilly October night in El Paso, Texas to a USMC officer and a nurse. Nelson's beginning was simple and auspicious. Childhood was nothing amazing or noteworthy except for the constant lack of his father's presence. His mother always working so he was left to his devices for most of the day. Gaining a interest in exploration, adventure and action tales. Young Nelson always found himself out on grand quests in the backyard. The one thing his parents succeeded in instilling in the kid by his teenage years is a strong sense of right and wrong.

Teenage Nelson was a handful as he gained greater ability to be on his own. Adventures expanded past the property limits. Feisty and quick to anger Nelson found himself often in a scrap over something or the other. Most of the instigating circumstances were him stepping in to defend someone or himself. Not a perfect student but by the time he graduated from high school Nelson had enough of a average to gain acceptance into Texas State. From there he moved in the Army's OCS after completion of his Undergraduate in Forestry.

Fast forward to 2020 Nelson Stroud, now a Captain in Delta Force, has had a successful career. It was nothing out of the ordinary but enough for him to be scouted by SOCOM. He had met the woman who he thought was the one, Peyton Beckett, and they got along well. All in all Stroud is as comfortable as he can get. Never been one to really like comfortable in the first place. However he had a stable life which is more then most. When the shit hit the fan he was chilling with Peyton watching Netflix. Both had just gotten off a rather long deployment and looking forward to down time.

When the evac order went out both of them grabbed their kits that they kept with them. After assisting with the clearing of their neighborhood the couple joined the people at a nearby FEMA camp. Both were about to head to their duty stations to report in when chaos erupted. There was cries from the medical section the just absolute chaos. The two barely got out of the situation alive. However what the experienced in the camp was just the beginning as they experienced it throughout the States. Eventually deciding to forgo going to their duty stations despite the consequences, the two decided to stick together.
