Ulina Mortensdottir is from a long line of Orlanthi warriors. Her grand mother and father both died at the hands of the Lunars - her gran at Grizzly Peak, and her Da during the siege of Whitewall. Normally, she hates war, instead preferring to sing down the life giving rains as an Orlanthi storm witch. However, the terror of the two year winter and an exile into Prax changed everything. For several years Ulina hid among the Zola Fel boat people. Her strong affinity with the Water rune served her well, even as she apprenticed as a Junior Priestess with the Pairing Stone rebels and the folk at Garhound. She carried the votive idols and necessary items for Orlanth worship in a bundle that could be carried in a boat, evading Lunar pursuers. Her hatred of the Red Moon runes deep.

Now back in Sartar, where the Dragon has risen and a new Prince sits on the throne, things are looking better. She seeks to support her god and her people, as she prepares to meet the qualifications to become a full Rune Priest. Because of the kindness shown her, she also plans to attain Associate Priestess status in the Heler cult. But, first things first.
