Tate "Slammer" Rutkowski Jr. is a square jawed 21 year old man who's 6 foot body ripples with muscles. His jade green eyes dart around almost constantly, keeping an eye out for any threats or trouble. His face is mostly obscured by a shaggy head of brown hair and a bushy and unkempt beard. Tate regularly scratches at his neck and beard absent-mindedly. Often he has bruises or cuts across his face, though these are less severe than the multitude of scars across his arms, chest, and back.

Tate's clothes are frayed, moth eaten, and usually dirty. Often times his outfits are composed simply of pants, a belt, and a shirt. He tries to only buy burgundy or dark red shirts, but even so a close inspection would usually find various blood stains barely noticeable against the deep red colors. Perhaps the most interesting thing about Tate visually is that he seems to carry no weapons, unless you count his thick and meaty fists, which clench and release idly whenever he has no task to do.

At first glance an onlooker is likely to see Tate scowling, frowning, and generally putting off an air of distrust. However, continued observation soon sees him grinning and chuckling, especially if he is in the presence of children, who he is quick to gift with a warm smile and pieces of candy pulled from a pouch on his belt.

Tate takes his time before speaking, and when he does open his mouth the gravelly words are warped by a long drawl.
