Birthplace/ Home Planet: Verbena

History:  A fairly quiet upbringing on Verbena, her Father was a ships mechanic and often travelled away from his family.  Her mother ran the family small holding on Verbena and tried to scrape the money together to support her family.  When the war broke out, Beth joined up immediately and worked her way through to Sergeant where she performed brilliantly, showing great leadership and competence… too practical to get her any further promotion! She always took care of the soldiers under her command.  Whilst out on patrol they were outgunned, losing half her squad before they were overrun and taken captive.  They were transported to a prisoner of war camp on New Kasmir.  Months after her capture, Askel and his squad arrived and liberated the prisoners.  She doesn’t talk much about her experiences there, but they were dark.

Personality:  Beth is initially quiet and observant, but once you get to know her, she is incredibly loyal, dependable and even friendly (once you have gained her trust).  She has a wicked sense of humour, perhaps it can be dark at times but she likes to see people laugh and enjoy themselves.
