Angele [ awn-ZHEL] was born on April 16th, 1975 in Gloucestershire to an old and well known French pure-blood family: The de Brézé [ Bre-ZE ]  They are old blood and have both the wealth, influence, and attitude to go along with that. Somehow, Angele managed to grow into a woman who is neither snobby or elitist, but a supporter of equal rights, and a fighter against the oppression of magical and non-magical beings.

Angele hasn’t always had the courage to stand up for what she believed in and was weighed down heavily by her family's expectations. But as she grew older, and was able to mature outside of their sphere of influence, she slowly started down the path to becoming the woman she is today.

At Hogwarts, Angele started her journey as the small blonde pureblood who was sorted into Slytherin. There was a stigma that went hand in hand with the colors on her robes, and she slowly had to rise above that stigma, and to ignore opinions that were formed the moment she was sorted. Angele has always been driven, intelligent, and capable. These traits helped earn her the honor of being a Prefect, and later a Head Girl. As a leader, Angele was known for being fair but firm, and occasionally unyielding.

Today, Angele is a wife to a wonderful husband, and mother to six children. She is a curse-breaker (and historian) for the British Wizarding Museum of Magic. Her love of history goes hand in hand with her job, and she is passionate, and giddy when it comes to her job, and her hobbies. Get this girl in a room with artifacts and it'll be like watching a kid enter a toy shop. But she is not content to simply pour over books. Angele enjoys traveling to sites across the globe, loves investigating the mysteries personally. She has a love of languages, maps, and ancient scrolls.

Her ultimate goal when she is ready, would be to become the next Curator. But for now, she is happy as a Senior Curse-Breaker and Historian, and enjoys her job immensely.

PHYSICAL

Angele is primarily French. However, she identifies more with English culture and while she was sent to France a lot as a child to experience the culture there, she was raised in England and speaks with a British accent.

In regard to appearances, she has thick naturally wavy golden hair with faint silvery highlights, and almond shaped eyes that dance between gray and soft blue. Her skin is fair, with a smattering of freckles on her nose and cheeks (On occasion she can gain a hint of a golden glow thanks to being under the hot sun at various sites) a svelte body is maintained through an active lifestyle. (Between her job, her hobbies, and chasing after her children, she gets plenty of cardio)

Angele prefers simple elegance and clean-cut styles. She is often seen in coat dresses, sheath dresses, pencil skirts, bodycon, and sensible pumps. She prefers to keep her hair lightly curled and loose unless she’s working then it’s kept up and out of the way to minimize distractions. Her nails are normally kept trimmed and colorless for the sake of practicality. The only spontaneous characteristic on her body is a small tattoo she got shortly after graduating from Hogwarts. (It’s an old-fashioned compass on her shoulder)

The exception to her usual style is casual days at home. She doesn't wear pants often but will toss on a pair, with comfortable shoes and a nice shirt to enjoy the day with her family. Other identifying traits include stretch marks across her upper thighs, and tummy, which resulted from five pregnancies. "I’ve earned my stripes.” Overall, Angele is lovely.



SOCIAL

As a person who prefers depth in her conversations, Angele dislikes large social gatherings where small talk and forced civility are commonplace. However, she is by no means an introvert or a misanthrope. But while it isn't her favorite part of socializing, Angele is quite capable of making small talk, though she'll usually attempt to stir the conversation to something more interesting if possible.

Having been raised by a judgmental family has turned Angele into a critic, though she would never call a person out for their flaws and failures (unless it was absolutely necessary). She can be harsh, and she has high expectations not just of herself but of others. Angele isn’t always great at working in teams, she can occasionally come across as bossy or controlling, and at her worst, she tends to have a difficult time trusting people she is unfamiliar with to ‘get things done right’ and is adamant about the need to handle the task personally.

She is also fiercely independent and driven. She works hard and dislikes short-cuts and laziness from herself and others. It can make her a bit of a hardass at work. Thankfully, Angele is normally at her best. She is kind and compassionate but doesn't mollycoddle. She does have a fun side, and is often quite willing to try new things, and is always interested in exploring hobbies and interests outside her own. She is understanding and comforting, but never sugar-coats the truth. She is also fair and amiable but remains strict and grounded.


ACADEMIC

Growing up, Angele’s family has always had very high expectations of her. It molded her into something of an overachiever, where she connected success to love and happiness. Because unfortunately, unless she was shining brightly in someway, she often didn’t get the attention she needed as a child. Angele’s mother especially pushed her hard. She was given the best early education that money could buy and forced to complete tasks that were often beyond her abilities as a child.

As a result, she became a studious pupil and a strategic thinker with the ability to execute long-term goals. While it wasn't the happiest childhood, the skills she learned have helped her throughout her adult life. She’s ambitious and pushes herself hard, sometimes to the point that she overdoes it. It took her a long time to learn how to find balance with her personal goals, and her family life. While achieving her goals is important to her, Angele will always put family first.

She is competitive, and this showed itself a lot during her time at Hogwarts. She worked hard to be at the top of her classes, and to earn points for her house. She will freely admit that the year Slytherin won the house cup was an extremely proud moment.

Some Facts:

+ Her husband might be head of the order, but she is head of her home (which doubles as a meeting spot and headquarters) so be mindful.

+ She is an expert at managing chaos. (With five children, plus Tristan and Remy this skill comes in handy)
