Zystra was once the top candidate for a position in the prestigious Blackstaff run School of Magic, at the last moment her spot was unrightfully ( in her eyes ) given to Isabella Silmerhelve. She has never been so insulted in her life. Her family has been here longer than the Silmerhelve's how could she not get in.

She is clearly a perfect fits for the school.

Instead she wound up attending another of the schools in the Noble Ward while no less prestigious she still feels slighted, and she has tried to cause trouble for the young woman since that point. A mage of some skill, she blames most of her woes (illfounded) on Isabella Silmerhelve.
