- Tall and broad-built, with wild dark hair and stormy ocean eyes, Kamea easily stands out of a crowd with her sheer size. Her hair is shoulder-length and untamed without being unkempt, framing a natural bronzed complexion, further kissed by sun and salty sea. She also has a broad frame, the tone of her muscle plain on casual inspection; while she is obviously quite strong, her mass and tone alone don't tell the full story of her incredible strength. Her left arm features an intimidating tattoo in black, Kasirutan in style, resembling a family mark. Her back has additional scars similar to those left by cutting whip-blows, though they are relatively few in number and rarely in direct view.
Kamea's choice of attire at once practical but colorful, though she seems to care little about the actual weather or temperature. She dismisses any form of armor in favor of loose clothing which leaves her free to move. Tops are usually tight-fit and made of resilient fabrics, and typically leave her arms and toned stomach bared. She typically adds color through a splash of Dulimbian silk, usually a sari worn in decidedly informal fashion that any ardent traditionalists among the Ren might find objectionable. The sari is secured with the aid of braided belts, and sometimes weapons are secured as well, though she seems to maintain little consistency with what arms she might or might not carry, save for usually having at the least a dagger. She also sometimes wears a few pieces of simple jewelry, mostly crafted of simple cord, finely made beads, shells, and shark's teeth.
- Kamea's personality is even bigger than she is, and at first glance it might be easy to assume she's nothing more than the confident and somewhat imposing presence she usually carries herself with. She has confidence and fire in spades, and isn't one to shy away from a confrontation - but she's rarely the first to throw a blow. She's the type to buy a round or more for the whole of a bar on a good day, and while she isn't always in a social mood, she often is, and is apt to engage with others quite actively when the mood strikes her. Her attitudes run the gamut of challenging to flirtatious to friendly. It's plain that she loves a good fight, and takes pride in her strength both in battle and outside of it, always willing to lend a powerful arm to someone who seems in earnest need.
Despite all of that, she's actually much sharper than most people would give her credit for. She's become world-wise with remarkable speed, and even still sometimes finds her own insights surprising, though she'd never show it outwardly. She prefers to achieve her aims without bloodshed when she can, but is more than willing to cut down a foe who deserves it - or one who can't see the wisdom in backing down when faced with overwhelming force. As a pirate, the goal was never to take lives, it was to claim the valuables, and often, fear and attitude could achieve as much as cannonfire and blades. Even so, she doesn't relish such kills. She's actually something of a loner when it comes to matters of personal importance. It's with reluctance that she seeks help for her own burdens, and after events of the last few months, she has struggled with private insecurities; insecurities she masks with the vigor she puts into her public persona, and with her drive to reunite the survivors of her crew however she can.
She cares quite deeply about those she considers to be part of her 'Crew' - but as of now, she's yet to reunite with any of them.
