A towering body of muscle and strange tattoos/markings was the goliath.  Although he had cloaks for rain and truly heavy weather their bindings to backpack showed long disuse.  But the weapons… large hammers, a quiver vicious-looking javelins, and a massive greatsword… yet no armour.

A second look at the warrior showed his dismissive ack of concern with the weight of the weapons, combined with an inordinate pride in the markings on his flesh.  Indeed, the warrior was oiled and gleaming, and his skin seemed to sparkle, and tilted his body as he walked to catch the best reflections.  His dark eyes looked warm and welcoming, but the combination of his size and attire suggested one a touch lacking in shrewd appreciation of the day.
