He's a gnome, of course, with wood-brown skin and black hair shorn close, black beard neatly cropped, and his grey eyes google weirdly behind his spectacles, one lens of which is cracked down the middle, giving that eye a strange shifting look, like it's swelling or contracting depending on the angle of observation.
