Cassian is a tall and sturdy young man, with shoulder length hair of dark brown and eyes of midnight blue.  He has tanned skin, with strong, calloused hands and fine wrinkles around his eyes that speak of a lifetime spent outdoors.  He currently sports a neatly trimmed beard and moustache, although he has also gone cleanshaven for long periods, as the mood took him.

When about the temple he wears common clothing, though neatly made and well kept.  He favours dark blues and greys, reminiscent of the colours at twilight.  When on duty or otherwise expecting trouble, he wears dark splint mail and carries a black shield with the mark of Selûne upon the face.  His weapon of choice is the well-used warhammer that hangs in the frog on his belt.  A cape of midnight blue cloth hangs from his shoulders clasped with an arrangement of three silver stars, a nod to the warrior-priest branch of the House of the Moon.
