Nathaniel Hawthorne was born in 1971; and died in 1993, at age 22. In life Nathanial was a High School Dropout, as well as a pretty, but relatively unknown singer billed as "Dirk Angel" in the relatively unpopular (bad) Los Angeles based band "Peachy Nietzsche". Nathaniel Hawthorne was known for loudly and irrelevantly "Sticking it to the Man" whilst also "Sticking it to his arms and between his toes" "It" in the latter case being heroin.  After suffering what would have been a fatal overdose, he was embraced by a Vampiric fan of his music. In the past 25 years of Undeath Nathanial has gotten his GED, and moved to the Bay Area. He's taken up Meditation, and (mostly) gotten clean of drugs and alcohol.  Nathanial attempts to keep a tight rein on his blood consumption.  He's currently in good standing with a local Program for Vampires and other Man-Eating Supernaturals, and checks in weekly with his Sponsor. He currently works as a SPARCLE.
