Professor Ames is one of the heads in the Liberal Arts department, and is known as an incredibly skilled historian and researcher. She is said to be good friends with the Librarian, and spends a good deal of time in the library. She is serious about the power of history and knowledge, even if it creates a rather unfortunate tendency for her to wax philosophical. That being said, she does dote on her students, and does her very best to train them in the classical arts.
