Charles DeLaney is a survivalist and prepper from before the outbreak. Having grown up on a Wyoming ranch he has spent much of his life in the western Rockies and has never been good at social interaction. His skills as a hunter and tracker however are second to none. His weapons of choice are a Winchester 30/30 rifle with a 3-9 scope, a 6 inch barrel .357 magnum and a 12 inch Bowie knife strapped to his thigh.
  Since the outbreak Charles has kept to himself in the Colorado wilderness but occasionally sends scouting reports via radio to a group of ex military who remained after the order to retreat.
