Description: Whether dressed in steel plated armor, a ball-gown or even drab leather hunting gear Princess Elaine of Avalon is a striking beauty. She easily draws attention wherever she goes with her red-gold hair that shines like living flame in the sun, a flawless pale complexion that she wishes would tan better, sky-blue eye and statuesque build. Beyond her beauty, Elaine has a commanding presence that seems to compel respect beyond simply her station.

When she was younger, Elaine wore her hair in a pageboy cut, but she has since grown it out to shoulder length, which she typically wears in a braid. While she wears gowns a lot more often these days, she is still most comfortable in hunting leathers. She is almost never seen without her wedding ring, a simple gold band inscribed with runes. Outside of court Elaine rarely wears any symbol of her station, beyond a simple steel circlet set with a scarlet gemstone, shot through with blue, the colors of Avalon.

In her youth, Elaine was a passionate, reckless tom-boy, always running off to adventure, trying to seek what was over the next horizon. Frequently acting without thinking of the consequences, she caused no end of trouble for her father, sister and various guardians. Nonetheless, she always tried to do what was best for Avalon as a whole and live up to the heroic ideals established by her ancestors.

As she's matured, Elaine has strived to temper her recklessness, the mistakes of her youth serving as lessons to her about the danger of not considering consequences. While many at Court still consider her reckless, believing that her father indulges her whims far too often, there are an equal number, especially among the knightly orders and younger members of court who would follow her into hell itself if she commanded it.
