The year is 1993, on an alternate Earth, in California. The 80s synth pop scene is still strong, the biggest bands of rock history are still on tour, the internet is in it's fledgling state, cell phones are all flip phone style, and the surveillance state doesn't exist, at least not yet. A group of teenagers living normal lives are about to have a bigger fate thrust upon them. It's up to them to decide what to do when that time comes.
