Lazarus is an average sized man with dark skin, black hair, and dark brown eyes. He usually stands with an air of confidence and optimism. He wears a long dark brown leather coat with lots of pockets (both inside and out). Underneath is a buttoned up shirt and baggy trousers held up by a cloth belt. His feet are clad in sturdy black boots and he carries a sack of supplies at his waist.

His forearms are probably much more curious to look at than his clothes, however. His left hand appears to be made of etched gold with intricate patternnings of gold continuing up his arm. His right hand looks to be made of clear crystal, but with the back of his arm covered in little polyps almost like what you would find on a sea anemone. Each hand was the result of a failed use of magic, and he sometimes wears gloves to help hide his disfigurement. Despite the odd appearance though, his hands function the same as anyone else's. Not only that, but when he casts a spell, one eye's iris glows golden, and the other glows crystalline.

He is the Duchess of Nodalga's cousin's nephew.
