Zaryk is tall for an elf, standing 5'9". At 142# he is sturdy for an elf, although lean by human standards.

His complexion is tawny, and gets even darker in the sun. His skin contrasts sharply with his deep green eyes.  His dark brown hair is straight and long, reaching the middle of his back. He ties it back in a pony-tail, or braids it in a single braid when he is at work, especially at sea, where the constant wind would have it blowing about his face.

He is usually wearing simple clothes, more peasant than merchant! He favours long-sleeved tunics and long pants reaching just past mid-calf. Pants and shirt are generally undyed homespun. When his feet are covered it is with knee-high soft boots. He wears a mottled-green travel cloak when needed, and always sports an orange sash, either tied around his waist or arm, or occasionally as a hair scarf or bandana.

Generally, the first impression that most people will have when they first meet Zaryk is that he is a sailor.

When exploring or travelling on foot, he will carry a leather backpack, a composite longbow will be on his shoulder, a longsword at his hip, and a dagger on each thigh.
