Ganbujigchin, or Gan as most people call him, is a tall and powerfully built Half Orc from Tien. He was raised by an Orc tribe until the age of fourteen, when he left and eventually befriended Zarathrustra and her father. Over time, their bonds grew tighter, and Gan was adopted into their family. He is a devout follower of the Empyreal Lord Ashava, and sees his sister Z as his spiritual leader. He is also fiercely protective of her, and considers himself her sworn guardian.

While his nearly six and a half foot, three hundred pound frame is physically imposing, he also possesses a personality that causes people to take notice. He considers himself a Samurai in the service of Ashava, and carries himself with stoic dignity. He speaks with a slow, measured composure, and a deep, booming voice. Gan has a strong personal code of honor that embraces the ideals of Ashava- freedom, kindness, and above all, redemption for all who truly seek it. Though the Orcish side of his heritage tends to make him impulsive at times, he does his best to keep his composure. However, when driven to the point of combat, he is a fierce and formidable opponent. Ashava has blessed him with a touch of the Azata, and he channels this power into a rage that brings down righteous fury upon his enemies- especially those of evil intent.
