McWatt keeps a large bottle of Laudanum in his black bag and a supply of smelling salts. He speaks with a Scottish accent, which tends to fade when he gets excited or tipsy. He will tell anyone who listens of his apprenticeship with Dr. Freud in Vienna, though he seems a bit young to have practiced medicine in those early years that he alludes to.

He is a doctor, but like everyone else in Hollywood, his tale has grown in the telling.
