Mevia is a blonde Aquilonian-born gladiatrix who specialises in fighting wild beasts. In the arena she fights with a spear and is scantily clad in animal skins designed to invoke the fierce inhabitants of the Black Kingdoms. She is surprisingly well educated, often taking people by surprise when they make assumptions based on her persona in the arena.
