Fallen World is an alternate historical earth setting where in 1945 a nuclear bomb was detonated in Japan, which led to the local population exhibiting strange behavior and mutations. These people disappeared or where apprehended by U.S. occupation troops. Those that disappeared formed small groups and lived in the wild or deep in the cities throughout the world. During the 1970s as the Vietnam war raged tensions between the Soviet Union and the United States Of America led to full blown war. The Soviet Union imvaded parts of Europe and America, landing on the Florida coast and pushing inland. China invaded California and Baja. War spread across the globe and within weeks of the invasions nuclear weapons were detonated through out the world. Despite attempts to curve mutual destruction ultimately the world was destroyed and civilization collapsed. Thousands, millions were affected by the radiation and began to mutate and transform into terrifying monstrosities. 10 months later the entire world was overrun by these monsters. Survivors banded together into roving convoys and safe zones. Rogue military units with no command structure became self regulated, some helping to protect civilians while others began to loot and attack the very people they were once ordered to protect. Soviet and Chinese troops litter the nation, cut off from their homelands with no way home. Monsters travel in packs or hunt prey alone. The world has fallen.
