This game is based on the show The Magicians, which was based on the Magicians trilogy of books by Lev Grossman. It will take place in a separate time line to the show and books. While the setting will remain more or less the same, most of the characters and all of the events of the show and books do not exist. The only characters that remain from the original tales are the professors and Dean Fogg, though Dean Fogg never lost his eyesight.
