Personality: Linda is a focused woman who has very high expectations of herself while she's training or gaming, but she is much more relaxed and social when she's not in the middle of a workout. She'll strike up a conversation with anyone about just about anything and isn't afraid to walk into a random conversation or say hello to someone who seems interesting. She's a conversation starter and doesn't like to wait around and hope someone else takes the initiative.

Background: Linda comes from a small town "Up North" in Minnesota. It's one of those 'blink and you miss it' types of places that people show up to for vacations in their cabins. Her school was tiny and didn't have much of a sports presence, so she had one of those situations where a bunch of small towns all had one school for the lot of them. She played hockey and baseball (not softball, because there weren't enough girls on the team). In baseball, she was good enough to pitch while in hockey she was a goalie. She excelled at both and even got drafted late by the Colorado Rockies her senior year. She declined, however, as the true sport that she loved was powerlifting and, by extension, other weightlifting competitions. Her sights were on the Olympics from her freshman year of high school.

She spent most of her summers doing two things: she trained and she worked as a guide around the local lakes in her canoe, shuttling families around for low wages and lower tips. She competed in local tournaments and even some in the Twin Cities. She placed well, often in the top three for her weight class, up until her junior year of high school. It was then that the discipline she put into her training really paid off as she put on more muscle and started winning competitions and being invited to bigger and bigger tournaments.

She knew that she would need money and sponsors in the long term, so she turned to the internet. She was pretty decent at video games, so she decided to merge her enjoyment of gaming and athletics into a unique stream. Sure, she'd game and make money that way, but she'd also stream some of her workouts while talking with her audience about either gaming or training. This helped fund her travels to other states to compete in larger tournaments. She also maintains a YouTube account for training and gaming videos.

When she graduated, she knew she wanted to go to college. She knew most schools weren't big on offering scholarships or anything for Olympic hopefuls in powerlifting. The sport had a bad reputation and the US hadn't historically done great in it. But she knew she was on the cusp of breaking through, as she was ranking with totals that put her in the top 5 or 10 in the nation, but she was a good four to six years younger at the time than the top competitors. Midvale was a school in the state, where such sports were somewhat more popular, and she didn't want the most difficult school. She knew her future really was in sports, and so she signed up.

Her freshman year was just getting adjusted to school and continuing to train intensely. She became a regular in the weight room, typically putting in a pair of workouts a day. She is an average academic student with an undeclared major right now. She continues her livestreaming with gaming and worked out a deal with the college to film and stream sometimes from the weight room. She pulls in decent money from her social media sponsors, but does a good job of keeping them relatively subtle with most of the ads.

Appearance: Linda is tall, standing around 6 feet in height. She has shoulder-length brown hair and fairly normal blue eyes. The big thing that most people notice, aside from her height, is her size. The woman is noticeably muscular, though not in the puffy bodybuilder way but more in the extremely powerful and functional manner. It's pronounced enough that hiding it would be pointless, so Linda doesn't bother and simply embraces it. This means a lot of sleeveless tops and shorts or jeans for her.
