Drance Throneborne

Appearance
While he may not ride on the wagons any more, there is no mistaking Drance for anything other than gypsyfolk. His typical outfit looks like a costume composed of dark black studded leather armor and brightly colored scarves. He'll keep his hair caught up in a violet scarf turned into a headband and wear yet more entwined scarves on his forearms and calves. He carries a slim sword like he knows how to use it but the mandolin on his back clearly has seen more use than the blade. Mixed in with all the color and glints of metal from his armor studs, people are bound to notice darts 'hidden' here and there and a holy symbol of Torm on a chain around his neck.

Name: Drance Throneborne
Race: Half-Elf
Class: Bard, Paladin
Background: Entertainer

Short Background:
Drance is the child of a gypsy princess and a nobleman, the bastard child of romance that blazed brightly for months before the tragic ending that the gypsy and the noble knew had to happen. They went their ways, he to marry, she to the life of the road. Drance grew up surrounded by the love of traveling gypsy folk, cared for by his mother, and taught by more hands than any noble's son. Mother's gift for storytelling came to him, the nightly tales she wove became the goalpost of his adult life. They sought out new tales in taverns, in churches, anywhere people gathered to speak the tale and uplift the people. Mother passed one night, of age, of sickness, of nothing that could be prevented.

In her name and in her honor, Drance has a simple lifequest, to become The Storyteller, the one everyone wants to hear, needs to hear. He left the gypsy family behind, to blaze new trails, meet new people, create his own stories. Silver tongued and priestly blessed, he may just reach that goal one day.
