Bane

Name: Belladonna Napoletani
Aliases: Bane
Age: 25

Physical Description: Bane stands a little over six feet tall and is slender, but powerful in her build. She has light brown hair and piercing, stern brown eyes. She wears military style dark green cargo pants and a heavy duty leather belt that hugs her hips. The cargo pockets on her pants are made of heavy leather and are able to store small weapons and items within. She wears steel plated combat boots with heavily armoured toes. She wears a steel breastplate on top for more armour. The top is also made of leather with heavy duty nylon straps. The top is armless, leaves her toned midriff exposed and is also cut to show off the cleavage of her D-sized breasts. On her face she wears a replica of the mask of Bane, having altered it to become a vaporiser and re-breather. With it, she inhales a customised mixture of diluted Joker Serum and other drugs which she uses to keep the pain of her scarred lungs away.

Biography: Bane blames the wealthy and powerful for the state of the world today, and she sees the Wayne Family as the epitome of that. She had become somewhat jaded with society before the event, with the political infighting and corruption and more. Witnessing the world end with her own eyes only imprinted that belief firmer and drove her to take action instead of watching.

In the wake of the event, Bane has become the Raider Queen of the Wastelands. There, she commands an army of scavengers where she attacks convoys headed for Wayne Tower, as well as rival camps for supplies and personnel. In this position, Bane has access to a good cache of supplies such as vehicles, fuel, weapons, food and medical supplies. These items are worth more at this time, than anything such as monetary wealth. The already fragmented society shattered completely when the bombs fell. Bane has made it her goal to piece together those fragments into one whole society - HER society.

Bane doesn't keep very many allies without absorbing them into her army, but there are rumours that she has contacts in the city, possibly even in Wayne Tower itself. Bane has realistic looking cybernetic legs due to a car accident before the event. Those legs give her increased durability and much increased lifting capability and balance. When the bombs fell, Bane was exposed to radioactive dust and cinders which resulted in her lungs and throat getting scarred. As such she needs her mask to provide both drugs and oxygen to help her function. Without the mask, Bane cannot endure much physical activity and her breathing is laboured.

Bane is also a heavy user of a new version of the Venom drug. When she uses it her strength radically increases and she is able to lift more than 25 tons of weight. Her speed, reflexes, durability and stamina all increase exponentially. As long as she has a steady access of Venom, she can fight for days on end without rest or recovery time. If she does not keep taking Venom, it will wear off and she will have a crash phase where she becomes weaker than even normal, and lose all of her stamina. This crash phase disappears after a short time from a single dose. If she takes multiple subsequent hits, or increases her dose, the crashes will be more severe.

History: Belladonna was born in the city of Metropolis as the youngest of tree children to a somewhat normal middle class family. Her parents ran an Italian restaurant where she helped out now and then as she grew up. As she got into school, she fell in love with gymnastics and dedicated her life to it to be the best she could be. She ended up exceling in the sport placing in and winning several regional competitions. Despite her taller frame, all signs were pointing to her challenging for the American Olympic team. One day, though, she was involved in a a severe car accident which crushed her legs forcing them to be amputated. With modern medical technology, she was able to aquire a pair of ultra-realistic cybernetics, however that forever disqualified her from acheiving her Olympic dreams.

She became angry and dejected, getting into fights at school and having her grades fall to a point where she was almost outright expelled. She still managed to graduate and after she did, she channeled that agression into street fights and eventually into unsanctioned cage fights in bars and other places. She used her large size and gymnastic agility to win many fights and gain some success and wealth through it. It was through this that she got her first taste of criminal life, getting the attention of the local mafia who contracted her as a female enforcer.

Alarmed, her family moved with her to Gotham, but she did not abandon her lifestyle. She became an enforcer to the mafia there and did that right up until the bombs fells. Nothing of what, or who, she knew survived. In the immediate aftermath, she inhaled radioactive cinders which permanently scarred her lungs and throat to the point she needs an oxygen supply to operate normally. Using a found recipe for a new form of the Venom drug, Belladonna - now Bane - uses intimidation and strength to rule the Wastelands and longs to make a new world grow from the ashes in her design.

Abundant
  • Workforce (Bane has a group of raiders and other allies to call upon)
  • Shelter (She has her command vehicle that goes where she does)

Sufficient
  • Transportation (Bane has a fleet of vehicles, but can only maintain what she has)
  • Weapons (She has a stockpile for her followers, but nothing excessive)

Deficient
  • Food (As nomads, they don't have a means to grow their own food. They hunt or trade)
  • Water (Water is a trade or steal thing only)
  • Power (Power cells can be hard to come by and are valued in raids)
  • Air Filters (Likewise for power cells)
  • Raw Materials (Bane has to salvage, trade or steal everything she needs)
  • Manufacturing (While her group is able to do some building and repairs, it is not enough)
