Richard's appearance often implies a rugged professionalism, but things about him don't add up neatly. His body is a lot of whipcord muscle over an average frame, in spite of not working out that much. His appearance neatly strides the line between always being professional without being exacting. His voice is generally even tempered, although the otherworldly shade of his blue eyes typically draws attention where ever he goes.

Someone who pays careful attention will notice the slight discoloration as a layered combination of bandages, hairpieces, and makeup conceal neon blue designs of clearly alien origin that run from either temple, above his ears, down to a point at the base of his skull. Of particular note is that his eyes are now the same shade of blue.






His costume, on the other hand, is a mix of put together gear while intentionally harkening back to the era of noir detectives (movies today got no class, he'd say. If it looks oddly put together, that's probably because its composed of individual elements he liked, without taking much time (or thought) as to if they all made sense in the same ensemble.
