Volath stands an even 6' tall, with a muscular and athletic build.  His coal black beard is kept neatly trimmed, and his hair is kept short and shaved at the sides.  His most striking feature are his mismatched eyes, the right one a brilliant sapphire blue, the left one a deep emerald green.  Their gaze is piercing, and intelligent.

When dressed for battle he wears a matte steel suit of splint armor, and wields a greatsword.  At his side is a short, cleaver shaped sword and dagger.  Slung in a quiver over his back are 5 javelins.

When not dressed for battle, he favors black clothes trimmed with green and blue embroidery.  He always has his dagger hanging from his, just behind his belt pouch.
